We use cookies and similar technologies to provide our services, understand how BarVerse is used, and improve your experience. Essential cookies: Always active. Required for authentication, security, audio playback, subscription checks, and core app functionality. These cannot be disabled. For security and account-integrity purposes, a small number of essential events (such as login and signup completion) are sent to our analytics provider even if analytics cookies are declined.
Analytics and performance cookies: Optional. Help us understand how visitors use BarVerse, which features are most helpful, and how we can improve learning outcomes. We use Mixpanel for this purpose.
Marketing cookies: Optional. Used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and promotional offers.

9. SMS Communications

With your explicit consent during account registration, we collect your phone number to send transactional SMS messages.

Purpose: Account security alerts, verification codes, and important account notifications only.
Consent: You must check the opt-in box during signup. No phone numbers are collected without consent.
Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to cancel. Reply HELP for assistance.
Data Retention: Phone numbers are stored securely and deleted when you delete your account.
Third Parties: SMS delivery is handled by AWS End User Messaging. See AWS privacy policy.
